Time for two, with no need to rush

Sometimes you do not need to travel far. You simply need a place where the day does not have to be packed with plans, where you can stroll straight from the garden into the park and where dinner can linger a little longer in the evening.
At Roosendaelhof, you stay in a historic house full of character, in the centre of Geel yet surrounded by greenery. The Market Square is about 200 metres away: close enough for a stroll, yet far enough to leave the bustle behind.

A stay filled with romance

Begin the morning with a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards, stroll through the city park or wander towards the Market Square without a fixed plan. Perhaps you'll stop at a coffee bar; perhaps you'll visit the Gasthuismuseum. There’s no need to rush anywhere.
In the evening, Bistro Roosendaelhof awaits. The cuisine is based on honest ingredients, short supply chains and small-scale local production. The bistro currently holds a score of 12.5 out of 20 in Gault\&Millau.
If you prefer to have everything arranged in one go, choose a culinary package with an aperitif, a three-, four- or five-course dinner, an overnight stay and breakfast.

Make Geel your own

Step straight from Roosendaelhof into the city park for a peaceful stroll, then continue to the Market Square and St Amand's Church. If you would like to discover more of Geel, visit the Gasthuismuseum to learn about the story of St Dimpna and the town's remarkable history of healthcare, or cycle into the Kempen via the cycle junction network and the St Dimpna Route. After a day out together, you'll return to a room that suits your stay: from a charming room in the historic Vicarage (Pastorij) to a contemporary room in the Coach House (Koetshuis) or a more spacious accommodation at Guesthouse Belrose. Some rooms also have a balcony, terrace or private sauna.
